Some random encounters with cool people in different parts of the world…\r\n\r\nSept 26, 2009\r\n\r\nFlying back to L.A after shooting the (bloody awful) Sanctuary online game footage. I can truly say yesterday was my worst day on set ever. We were asked to speak directly into camera and recite these completely non-sensical technical speeches. I think on one shot it took me 17 takes to get it right. 17 takes! Damian had nothing to do with the writing of it. Some outside company is producing it. I have got see this video game when it’s done. Purely out of morbid curiosity.\r\n\r\nMet Julian Sands at the airport. We had a good conversation about Robin Hood. Nice guy. Going to try to keep in touch.\r\n\r\nTom Arnold is also on the plane beside me. Random.\r\n\r\nOct 5, 2009\r\n\r\nSitting in Heathrow airport waiting to get on a plane to Vancouver. The last few days have been insane. Just did my first fan convention. It was cool hanging out in London with Heyerdahl, Chuck Campbell, and Emilie. And the fans were all very nice. It was great to be able to talk to people about the show. While it happens to be my job, I’m also a big Sanctuary fan and it was fun being able to talk to people about their likes, dislikes, etc.\r\n\r\nI was also asked several times over the weekend to remove my pants. Apparently, the fans have caught wind of my on-set antics of taking off my pants at any opportunity. Now it has become a thing. I’m sure at this very moment there are pictures of me alongside fans with my pants around my ankles circulating the internet. Awesome.\r\n\r\nYesterday my flight from London had to make an emergency landing in Iceland and then ended up coming back to the UK causing me to have to spend an extra night here. I’m so fucking tired and turned around, I’m looking forward to getting on a nice Air Canada plane and getting to Vancouver.\r\n\r\nFeb 10, 2010\r\n\r\nJust stopped in a Portland coffee shop on the drive up from Los Angeles to Vancouver to start Season Three. Colin Ferguson is driving too (to begin a new season of Eureka) and we’ve been talking on our cell phones like Smokey and The Bandit about speed traps and weather.\r\n\r\n
